If you’re already looking for an activity to kee If you’re already looking for an activity to keep your kids active AND learning this upcoming PA day or summer season, @ripleysaquaca in Toronto is a must! My 5th visit and this time I took the boys and my nephews.

Some tips to consider for your visit:
* Take the transit whether it be @takethettc or @gotransit (a 10 minute walk from union station)
* Buy tickets in advance to avoid the lineups
* Visit during non peak hours - before 11am or after 5pm (we went during the busy period but it wasn’t too bad)
* Take your time (we spent approx. 3 hours exploring)

3 Things I Learned Travelling Solo to Kilkenny, Ir 3 Things I Learned Travelling Solo to Kilkenny, Ireland 🇮🇪

1. You’re Stronger and Braver Than You Think - my hubby was my plus one to a wedding but the stars didn’t align. Travelling solo forced me to rely on myself, problem solving when things didn’t go as planned and realizing how resourceful I was.

2. Trusting My Intuition - going with my gut feel. The city I was in was safe; but I had to make sure I was aware of my surroundings and learned to read people. I was also diligent and not posting my hotel details until after I left and not posting in real time.

3. Packing light is okay - I’m an over packer and that’s because hubby took on the role of carrying suitcases. I packed the essentials for a four day trip and proud that I stuck to the list, BUT will never under pack again.

Have you ever travelled solo? And if so, tell me what you learned about yourself.
We take every opportunity to celebrate the boys’ We take every opportunity to celebrate the boys’ heritage 🇵🇭 🇧🇧 🇨🇦 June is Filipino Heritage Month in Canada – celebrating the history, culture & contributions of the Filipino community.

We will be sharing book recos, small businesses, fav foods and hoping to get a book reading in at the boys’ school.

A fun fact to kick things off: Toronto is the largest city in Canada and home to the largest Filipino community with over 300,000 Filipinos.

Wishing you a great month ahead!
